Welcome to the Cornerstone Technology Laboratory! The Tech Lab, located on the ground floor of Gregg Hall, offers free access to PCs and Macs at convenient hours in a comfortable study setting. Students may study alone or in groups, taking advantage of a reading room, classrooms and a seminar room, the computer area, or the pillow area. Students who would like to use their own laptops can use them in this fully wireless facility.
All Tech Lab computers are equipped with a wide range of academically-oriented programs designed to help students succeed at Washington University. Trained Tech Lab Assistants are available to help students with questions about applications like Matlab – a program used in calculus courses; statistical analysis programs like SPSS and SAS; Inspiration – a brainstorming program for writing papers and essays; webpage design software and test preparation materials for the GREs, MCATS, LSATs and GMATs.
