Hourly Rate: $8.00
Minimum Qualifications:
Academic Standing: Student in good standing for prior 2 semesters; 3.0 cumulative GPA or greater; resume and references
Computer Software Skills: Must schedule with HR, complete, and score at least 60% on intermediate-level Microsoft Performance Exams, including Access, Excel, Power Point, and Word; must attend up to three hours of training per semester to become confident with new software applications and operating systems.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a trainer, mentor, or instructor, especially in a peer setting and/or in areas related to technology
Experience in a customer-service setting
Self-motivated, proactive learner with an active interest in technology and commitment to academic excellence
Basic Job Expectations
Scheduling and Recordkeeping:
Work all assigned shifts or find a replacement at least three days in advance; maintain logs of Lab activity and service needs; maintain supply of bi-weekly and other time sheet forms in Tech Lab; collect and store time sheets and other paperwork from students after hours; distribute vouchers to students, as requested by Cornerstone staff
Customer Service:
Provide accurate information to students and visitors about Cornerstone resources, services and events; assist in maintaining current literature and informational displays; handle information requests submitted by students and visitors in person or electronically; scan and electronically file materials to be used by students receiving accommodations from Disability Resources

Maintain security and appearance of facilities; adhere to the Washington University Computer Use Policy; adhere to Cornerstone Policies
